The Grid, super fast Internet tops at 4 on Google search
Search for the Grid also has reached position 4 at the hour of writing this post. What is the grid all about? The grid is the super fast Internet technology or computer networks that will be used by Cern for delivering its huge data gathered from its particle accelerator.
The grid uses much better quality of fiber optic cables and modern routing centers that would revolutionalize the current Internet data transmission speed. And it says that the grid allows the download a the entire feature movie in just about few seconds, which is almot 10,000 times faster than the current Internet speed that is being powered by DSL or cable etc. The grid is said to move to commercial sector soon although it’s now only a pioneer technology being used by the CERN for transmitting its super huge amount of data.
